After the murder of George Floyd, the Lakers stopped sitting on the sideline and took a stand. Ever since, the organization has been focused on being not simply non-racist, but anti-racist.

In collaboration with our Director of Racial Equity and Action, the Front Office, and BAN (Black Action Network, an internal Lakers organization), we outlined a plan that would help us work towards becoming a fully anti-racist organization.
