#BestOf Series
On the evening of March 11th, 2020, the Utah Jazz, only minutes before tip-off, cancelled their game and sent their fans home. At that moment, everything changed.
We quickly realized that games weren’t going to happen any time soon. Without a season, how would we continue to entertain and engage our fans?
From a Zoom brainstorm was born the #BestOf series. We tapped into our extensive vault of footage featuring some of the biggest legends the NBA has ever seen and pulled out the best of the best for every single team we’ve ever faced.
Each #BestOf series would span the course of a day and show the best of the best content from our matchups with that specific team.
We also partnered with our RSN (Regional Sports Network), Spectrum, to cover the biggest games in Lakers history live as if they were happening in real time.
We were also able to educate our fanbase about Lakers Legends, further establishing ourselves as having the deepest legacy of any team in the NBA.
